Westminster Kids

Westminster recognizes that parents are the ones primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children. Therefore, we joyfully partner with parents to teach their children what it means to follow Jesus: with their minds, their hearts, and their actions.

Our Sunday morning gatherings build relationships between the children and the adults of the church, teach the children the good news about Jesus and how to follow Him (in age-appropriate ways), and highlight stories throughout history of how God has worked in children to make them more like Jesus.

In order to make God's Word clear for all ages, we provide various opportunities during the Sunday service.

  1. The Nursery (0-3 years) is staffed by church volunteers who have completed a background check and committed to abiding by the church's Child Protection Policy. For the child's safety, parents or caregivers must complete a Registration Form prior to checking their child into the Nursery. Additionally we have a mothers’ room available for parents who wish to sit and listen to the service via livestream.

  2. Children's Church is provided for children aged 4 through fifth grade during the sermon. For the child's safety, a Registration Form must be completed prior to children attending the program. Right before the Offertory, children are dismissed to meet the Children's Church Coordinator at the back of the sanctuary. The children will be returned to the sanctuary during the closing song so they can rejoin their family.
