  • erik schwartz, youth director

Erik helps oversee and lead all areas related to discipleship of the youth. In addition, Erik works at Westminster Christian School as as the High School Principal and as one of the Bible instructor. Erik was raised in Elgin and attended Westminster Christian School and Church through high school. Westminster holds a place dear to Erik's heart as a deep love for Christ was fostered at both the school and church. After high school, he attended Trinity International University where he earned his degree in Education. Erik continued his collegiate education by earning a Masters in Education Leadership. Both degrees have grown and deepened Erik's desire to love and lead in a manner which points others to God and his love for them. Erick and his wife Erica reside in Elgin, with their niece, Passion, and their three sons: Isaiah, Silas, and Jeremiah (and a girl coming in September!). Erik enjoys wrestling with his boys in the basement, playing, coaching and watching soccer, and mastering the art of grilling.
