At the heart of our ministry is a belief that we are all women in need of change helping other women in need of change. We are both needy and needed. The goal of our ministry is discipleship: a renewed mind (learning to think like Jesus), a transformed life (learning to live like Jesus), and strong family bonds in our forever family, the church (learning to love like Jesus).
In order to love like Jesus, building each other up in the faith, we need to know each other and know God’s Word. Our gatherings throughout the year create space for relationships to flourish, equip women to read and understand the Bible, and highlight stories of how God is working in the women of the church to make them more like Jesus.
Our fall book study is under way and we invite you to join in. Whether you are new to our area or a WPC regular, feel free to visit a session either in-person or on Zoom. You are welcome anytime! We are reading Megan Hill's book A Place to Belong: Learning to Love the Local Church on Tuesday and Saturday mornings 9:30 - 11:00 am. To learn more, click here or contact Mary Alice Burdett at firstname.lastname@example.org.
After the New Year, we will begin a bible study on the book of Titus by Keri Folmar entitled Zeal.
