Westminster recognizes that parents are the ones primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children. Therefore, we joyfully partner with parents to teach their children what it means to follow Jesus: with their minds, their hearts, and their actions.

Ministry To Children (Westminster kids)

Our Sunday morning gatherings build relationships between the children and the adults of the church, teach the children the good news about Jesus and how to follow Him (in age-appropriate ways), and highlight stories throughout history of how God has worked in children to make them more like Jesus.

10:30 am ~ Sunday Service

Westminster's Children’s Church is designed for children age 4 through 2nd grade, and  will take place during the Sunday service from the offertory through the end of the sermon. For parents who would like their children to attend, during the offertory, children will meet Marcia Turpin, our Children's Church Coordinator, at the back of the church and taken to their class. The children will interact in age appropriate ways with the same passage that we are studying as a congregation. They will be returned to the sanctuary during the closing hymn. For children 3rd to 6th grade, we provide children's sermon notes. These notes, which can be picked up along with the Sunday bulletin, allow the children to follow along by tracking with the sermon outline and answering questions along the way.

9:00 am ~ Seasonal Sunday School - Resumes January 20th

Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, we gather at 9 o'clock for Sunday School. While the adults meet in the lobby, the Youth (6th through 12th grade - in the Youth Room) and Children (ages 2 to 5th grade - downstairs) meet and receive care and Biblical teaching appropriate to their ages. If you have children under 2 years of age, and would like to attend Sunday School, please contact the Church Office.
