Regular classes ongoing throughout the school year
Classes for the Children's Sunday School are held in the lower level classrooms off the Fellowship Hall. Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 10:00 a.m.
- Toddlers (ages 2 & 3): Our toddlers learn the beginning basics about God and the biblical vocabulary of faith.
- Preschoolers (ages 4 & 5): The preschoolers learn how God relates to his covenant people through Bible stories and how to trust God to keep his promises in the Bible.
- 1st & 2nd Grade: The children are taught to trust and obey God through studying God's promises, understanding the importance of God's Word, and growing in responding to Jesus personally.
- 3rd & 4th Grades: Students learn the greatness and goodness of our God and study the elements of worship. They are taught how to worship and enjoy God forever through getting to know his Son and his work.
- 5th and 6th Grades: The pieces of God's redemptive history are put in chronological order to help students build a solid historical and redemptive foundation for their faith.
Opportunities for Service
God has provided a wonderful team of volunteers to teach our covenant children. Each team member is uniquely gifted to minister to our children and to show Jesus to them every week.
The Children's Sunday School is always grateful for additional volunteers to call upon for substitute teaching when our regular teachers are providentially hindered.
If you would like to serve this ministry, please contact Katy Stoll, Children's Sunday School Coordinator, or the Church office.
