JOY Group (Just Older Youth)

The JOY Group is a bi-monthly social activity for members and visitors over 55.

This year's activities included: a Christmas brunch; a trip to Royal Oaks Apple Farms; the viewing of a video history of Westminster Presbyterian Church; concerts by the Westminster Christian School Senior Jazz Choir and the Granddad's Quartet; an October Rib Fest; and a Sun City Garden Walk.

Many in the group are active in the work of the church by teaching Sunday School and Bible studies, hosting the Sunday morning fellowship time, organizing church lunches and funeral meals, maintaining the job board, participating in the knitting club, choir, etc.  The group also cares for each other through prayer, meals, visits, and cards during difficult times.

Events are announced in the church's E-blast, Connect & Serve, and by e-mails or phone calls.

The Joy Group Bible Study meets the first three Thursdays of every month in the church conference room from 10:30 am-12 pm.
